NBSC Administrative Training Boosts Staff Skills and Leadership
The Northern Bukidnon State College Chief Administrative Office, headed by Dr. Helen E. Maasin, hosted a three-day Administrative Training at Midway White Beach Resort, Kinason, Initao, Misamis Oriental, on February 10-12, 2025.
With guest speakers and facilitators, participants gained valuable insights, engaged in meaningful discussions, and enhanced their understanding of various topics. Mr. Emmanuel F. Silan, Ph. D., discussed expert topics on Self-awareness, Transformative NLP, Leadership Essentials, and NLP and EQ at Work with Ms. Vilma B. Clerigo, PhD. Miss Vilma Clerigo shared her knowledge of Management Dynamics, Addressing Complex Combinations as Emotional and business Demands of Leadership, Risks in Ignoring Human Dynamics, Realities and how to go forward, Considering Endings, and Challenging and Responding.
As a manifestation of its implementation, participant Miss Gemma Abejo-Palizada of the Records Office shared what she learned during the training. “Through this training, I also learned that leadership is about mindset. Things like being emotionally aware, adaptable, and be optimistic are important no matter what your position is. These skills are helpful for me to become more effective in my job, whether I’m working on a team project or supporting my coworkers. After the three days training, I feel more confident and inspired to lead.”, she shared.
